- Delete − The article does not credibly demonstrate how this band meets the notability guidelines set forth in WP:BAND. The only possible criterion that it might meet is No. 5: "Has released two or more albums on a major label or on one of the more important indie labels…". But the article says that they have a single album with Peaceville Records which is far from being a major label or important indie label (its own article is subject to reference and verifiability problems). — Fly by Night (talk) 03:17, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep, clearly notable. Barren Earth's debut album was after its release two weeks on Suomen virallinen lista (Finland's official album chart), 14th in week 13/2010 and 50th in week 15/2010 (a source for that: [1]). Has also got some media attention (for example interviews in a Finnish magazine called Inferno [2] and Sveriges Radio [3]) and been awarded as a newcomer of the year at the Finnish Metal Expo [4]. ,,n (talk) 05:02, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
